“Dear participants of today’s conference! Allow me to welcome you, to thank for the fact that you have responded to the invitation and are present here today. This is the second KDR Roundtable, with last year’s event being held under the slogan "we will not drill uneconomical wells"

We will not drill uneconomical wells that are unecomical at the project level, and the motto of today's conference is “do not to drill unecomical wells at the project level”.”

Sauat Mynbayev, President, JSC NC KazMunayGas, KDR Opening address 2016

KDR Well Engineering Forum 2019

The 5th KDR, Well Engineering Forum, will take place in Nur-Sultan on the 12th of September 2019. The forum includes oil and gas conference case study examples with roundtable panels and open discussion sessions, including exhibition booths, covering Kazakhstan's upstream industry.

With the second largest oil reserves as well as the second largest oil production among the former Soviet Republics after Russia, Kazakhstan is at the forefront of the oil and gas sector in the Caspian region.

The KDR is fully supported by the National Company KazMuanyGas and the SRI PDT KazMunayGas as the Platinum Sponsors and General Event Partners.

Covering topics from drilling to completions and stimulation, to production and EOR.  The event also covers the equipment used on the rigs from top drives, drill pipe to power generation and control systems.

The KDR is a great opportunity for operators, drilling contractors, service companies and vendors to share knowledge and experience and develop a better understanding of the field development challenges faced by the industry.

The event has quickly become a must attend event for senior corporate and technical managers from the major operators, service companies, drilling contractors and equipment vendors.

The forum sets the benchmarks for the future development of the oil and industry in Kazakhstan and allows international companies to build long lasting business relationships with the key players in the Kazakh Oil and Gas market.
